October 9th at 7 pm at the Hall, we will be be treated to VERY special event. Loran Olsen, PhD, and professor emeritus in Music and Native American Studies at WSU will present: A LEGACY FROM “SOL” WEBB:One Nez Perce Indian Family’s Oral History in Song. This power point lecture with sound examples explores the Webb family’s heritage from prophetic songs before Lewis and Clark’s Westward Expedition in 1805, through the treaties of 1855 and 1863, to the 1877 war, to 1893 allotments and on to the present.  
A free will offering at the end will help fund activities for our Scandia Kids.

The Fall Bake Sale will be held on November 18th, between 10 and 2. As always, there will be lots of delicious pies, cakes, breads, Norwegian specialty items and more to enjoy. Keep watching this space for more info as the date approaches.  
The Sunday evening dances have become increasingly popular with our members as well as those of the greater PA community. Look to your left on this page and click on "DANCING" for details about joining in this fun, healthy activity for ALL ages and experience levels. At 6:30 new folks can learn some dances and the regular event begins at 7 p.m.
